Easy Journals provides creative leather journal making workshops, private events, and related creative experiences. By booking a workshop or service with us, you agree to the following terms.
2. Bookings & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been received. Spaces in workshops are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person with prior notice. In some cases, we may allow rescheduling with up to one weeks notice.
4. Workshop Experience & Materials
Each participant is provided with the materials required to create one leather journal during the workshop. Leather is a natural material and may vary slightly in texture, tone, and appearance. These variations are part of its natural character and are not considered defects. Workshops involve the use of craft tools, which may include items such as hammers, punches, and cutting tools. Full instruction and guidance are provided throughout the session, and all tools must be used in accordance with the instructions given by the instructor. Due to the hands-on nature of the workshop, results may vary depending on individual handling and creative choices. Guidance is provided throughout the session to support participants at every stage.
5. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for following all safety instructions provided during the workshop. While full instruction and supervision are given, Easy Journals cannot be held responsible for injury or outcomes resulting from misuse of tools or failure to follow instructions. Participants agree to use all materials and tools safely and appropriately at all times.
6. Age Requirements
Participants must be aged 16 or over to attend workshops. Any participants attending under this age requirement will not be permitted to take part unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing and in accordance with appropriate supervision requirements.
7. Responsibility During Workshops
Participants are responsible for following guidance provided during the workshop. While full instruction and support are given, Easy Journals cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions. We aim to ensure all participants leave with a completed journal, but the final result is part of a creative, hands-on process.
8. Event Changes & Cancellations (by us)
In the event that a workshop must be rescheduled or cancelled by Easy Journals, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
9. Photography, Video & Content
Workshops may be photographed or filmed for marketing and social media purposes. By attending a workshop, you acknowledge that you may appear in this content. If you do not wish to be included in photos or video, please inform us at the start of the workshop and we will ensure your preference is respected.
10. Personal Data
Any personal information collected (such as name and email) is used solely for booking, communication, and workshop administration purposes. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
11. Liability
Easy Journals is not liable for any personal injury or damage arising from participation in workshops, except where required by law. Participants attend workshops at their own discretion.
