Before You Book

We're so looking forward to welcoming you to one of our leather journal workshops. Before booking, please take a moment to read the information below to help ensure you know what to expect.

Leather Information

We work with beautiful end-of-line and deadstock leather to reduce waste and give high-quality materials a second life. As a result, leather colours, textures and finishes vary from workshop to workshop and are available in limited quantities.

While you'll be able to choose from the selection available on the day, specific colours cannot be guaranteed or reserved in advance.

Leather is a natural material, so variations in grain, markings, texture and colour are to be expected and are part of what makes every journal unique.

Your workshop includes one piece of leather for your journal. Throughout the workshop, you'll be guided step by step through the making process. As each journal is handmade by you, small imperfections are part of the learning experience and, depending on the stage of the process, mistakes may not always be reversible or replacement materials available.

Cancellations

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

If you can no longer attend, we are happy to reschedule your booking to another available workshop date, provided we receive at least 7 days' notice before your original workshop date.

Bookings made within 7 days of the workshop date are considered final and cannot be rescheduled, as we may already have prepared materials and allocated your place. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member. Please let us know their name before the workshop begins.

Parking and Transport

There is on-street parking available on surrounding streets. Please allow a few extra minutes to find parking in case spaces are limited. The nearest train station is Winchmore Hill.

Accessibility

We want everyone to feel welcome. If you have any accessibility requirements or would like to discuss whether the workshop is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking and we'll be happy to help where we can.

Age Requirements

Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Workshop Safety

During the workshop you'll be using leather tools under full guidance. Please follow all safety instructions throughout the session to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
